We offer scheduled maintenance contracts, working on site (within the clinic) to calibrate Tonometer's and service Slit lamps at regular intervals (Basic Contract Outlined below):
We offer additional 'Bolt On' packages such as electrical safety testing patient equipment (Medical Pat Testing), servicing/ calibrating additional equipment, dedicated response time (for emergency call outs), equipment consultation/ recommendation, commissioning new equipment and teaching (calibration techniques to ophthalmologists). There are currently no other companies offering independent preventative maintenance contracts for ophthalmic equipment in Wales.
Additional services available include:
Medical PAT Testing:- Medical PAT testing requires a more sensitive safety analyser to generate results in accordance with BS60601-1. MM Mercury Limited use Fluke ESA615 Biomedical Electrical Safety Analysers. These results are then recorded on the customer portal for traceability purposes creating a equipment history.
Equipment Calibration/Servicing:- We offer scheduled maintenance contracts, working on site (within the clinic) on a range of equipment. Please contact us for more information.
Service/ Calibration other:- MM Mercury are happy to service and calibrate other equipment such as NCT (Non-contact tonometer's), Lens meters, direct and indirect ophthalmoscopes, PSL (Portable Slit lamps) etc. Please ask for further details.
Consultation/ Recommendation:- MM Mercury is not affiliated with any manufacturers and therefore can offer independent advice on equipment and suppliers. Advice on scrapping and condemning equipment also.
Commissioning new equipment:- New equipment purchased during the contract period can be commissioned (and results taken) and added to the existing inventory.
Teaching:- Teaching literature available for teaching clinics/ University on request.
Swap out equipment:- MM Mercury offer swap out units, tonometer's, slit lamps. Please ask for further details.
The Portal is an important element that needs to be highlighted, this is quite unique to the industry and MM Mercury.
MM Mercury can be externally audited through the Customer Portal, this allows traceability (of equipment) and transparency (of service). Customers can access their individual equipment inventory and look up test results, test due dates etc.
